Visual Arts

At MDN, we believe, creative pursuits enrich the minds of the young children and are critical to their development. They also serve as a medium to enhance the imagination of the children, broadening their vision. Art and crafts, therefore, feature prominently in the school life.

Our endeavour is to develop in each child an individual aesthetic sense, provide practical experience and encourage them to take up visual arts as a passion and not merely a hobby. In the art classes, students are not only taught the techniques like sketching, painting, pottery, but they’re also encouraged to learn how to observe, envision, innovate, and reflect, in order to perfectly express their thoughts in the form of art.

An art education opens new worlds of possibility to our students, and so we have the finest faculty to achieve that, and all the infrastructure required for creative classes. The artworks are even displayed in regularly organized exhibitions to provide ample motivation to the little artists.
